Marino Valdez is a contemporary Argentinian artist and representative of so-called Outsider Art. As a close friend of Carry Hauser and an expert on the works of Adolf Loos, he maintains a close connection to Austrian art from the turn of the century and the 20th century. In his own works of art he deals with the complexity of interpersonal relationships, the complexity of emotional levels and the phenomenon of the conscious and the unconscious. At the same time, Valdez also addresses his own identity and deals with his own physicality. His expressive works, which are influenced by international avant-garde art movements, sometimes take you into a colorful and wild world of artists and clowns.
